Mistakes to avoid-
Drinking lots of water at iftar
Why:Filling stomach with water is more strenuous than with food
Solution: Take few sips at iftar then drink glass of water after every 2 hours

Exercise after iftar
Why:Body's blood flow is concentrated around the stomach at that time.
Solution: Exercise after 2 hours of eating to ease digestion.

Consuming food with high sodium
Why:Sodium triggers thirst during fasting.
Solution:Eat foods high in potassium as they retain water and suppress thirst.Bananas are high in potassium.


Best choices for Sehri:Potato,rice,dates,whole grain bread,banana

Worst food for iftar:
Deep fried food-samosa,pakore,bakery products

Best food for iftar:
Dates,milk & milk products, fresh juice,egg boiled,oats.
