Hyundai coming out with an electric vehicle in India

The Korean car major Hyundai is launching an electric vehicle in India.It will invest $1billion in India over the next 3 years including funding of local assembling of Kona electric SUV to roll out in 2019,a year before Maruti Suzuki launches its electric vehicle.
Hyundai India plans to locally assemble and drive in the Kona electric SUV in 2019.
It will also look into bringing in an electric version of its Xcent entry sedan as well as the Ioniq mid-size.
Hyundai India will introduce replacement for its popular Santro around Diwali priced at Rs3-4 lakh.It is a new car with 1.1 litre petrol engine while also working on an automatic version of the same.

Myntra revenue soars from 1.3 cr to 2.5cr in 1 year

Tech Connect Retail,largest seller entity on Mynta that is promoted by former Airtel CEO Sanjay Kapoorhas seen growth in its revenue.Tech Connect has seen 100% of revenues from retail sales through e-commerce.Documents from business research platform Tofler said company has made a profit of 12 lakhs in 2017 compared to a loss of Rs28 lakhs in the previous year.The Flipkart owned Myntra had bulk of its sales from Vector E-commerce,but it reduced its dependence on the seller and brought the Kapoor promoted Tech Connect as a prime merchant on its platform.Vector E-commerce has reduced significantly.

Ola goes global

Ola's founder and chief executive Bhavish Aggarwal has been talking about the company's intent to go international and give competition to rivals like Uber.Ola is entering the Australian market in its first international foray.Ola has started inviting private hire vehicle owners in Sydney,Melbourne and Perth for registering with Ola.
So Indians if you have relatives in Australia tell them about Ola!

App given to Bangalore policemen to record traffic violations

These policemen have been given new smartphones which will be installed with Violation Recording app.This facility has been provided by Bengaluru city police.
The app can easily capture pictures of several vehicles violating traffic rules at a time and send the data to the Traffic Management Centre(TMC). Traffic Management Centre(TMC) generates notices to the owners of the vehicles.
