Polythene choking sewage and garbage on public places to be banned in Lucknow and UP

Anyone throwing garbage of polythene here and there will be fined Rs 1000.

Fine charges:

100 gram     Rs 1000
101 to 500 gram       Rs 2000
501 gram to 1 kg      Rs 5000
1kg to 2 kg               Rs 10,000
More than 5 kg         Rs 25,000
Public places            Rs 25,000
By Individuals         Rs 1000

Ban on following from 15 August

Plastic glasses,cups,plates,spoon


Ban on following from 2 October

All types of polythene including plastic carry bags.
