know Ebola

Ebola virus disease (EVD,also Ebola hemorrhagic fever or EHF) or simply Ebola symptoms start between 2 days & 3 weeks after contracting the virus as fever, sore throat, muscle pain & headaches. Then, vomiting, diarrhea & rash follow. Function of liver & kidneys get decreased. At this time some people begin to bleed. The disease has high risk of death, often due to low blood pressure from fluid loss, after 6 to 16 days after symptoms.
The virus spreads by direct contact with blood or other body fluids of infected human or animal.Infection may also occur by direct contact with contaminated item or surface. African fruit bats are believed to be normal carrier in nature. Humans become infected by contact with bats or with living or dead animal that has been infected by bats.Blood samples are tested to confirm the diagnosis.
Prevention & control:
1.Animal meat should be thoroughly cooked before consumption.
2.Always wash ur hands.
